Is there any word on Aubrey Kent and his legal troubles ? This seems to have gone totally silent. Mat one point a few months back , I was lead to believe that some action was imminent.

Larry:

I had corresponded with Aubrey several times concerning charters to Zimbabwe and what happened concerning customs, gun permits, etc.

Somewhat out of the blue, I was offered some type of partnership or joint venture for not a huge amount of money.

I thought it quite a risk, but didn't dismiss it as the guy seemed to be a straight shooter.

Thank goodness I didn't have enough "funny" money around at the time.... or so it seems.

I'm interested, too.

Any news?

I hunted w/ Pelandaba Safaris last year--Aubrey made a mess of things. Sad because I liked him- was just contacted this AM by a RSA party regarding Aubreys legal situation. Don't know anything more yet-will post when I learn more-

Yeah I was contacted by Aubrey also-had a 50% deposit on a Elle/buff hunt and he said he needed another $10,000 US about 3 months before the hunt- thats when things started falling apart.

He tried to get me to lend him money. I think $150,000. I was immediately suspicious.
Glad I was .

My understanding is that Paul Phelan sorted things out for the clients, to his personal detriment. He gave up a lot of work to sort things out for the clients .

Has Aubrey been charged with anything ?

I am playing phone tag with Paul now--hoping for an up-date-should know more in a day or two.

Haven't said much here as i was asked to hold off till things settled in RSA.

Yes Paul Phelan went way beyond to make my safari work--Aubrey basically bailed and Paul got things put together and made a great hunt for me. Just cant say enough good things about Paul Phelan.

Aurbey got off easy from what i have heard.I don't know who all he still owes money to but. i do know he will not spend a min in jail like he should. basically daddy bailed baby aubrey out of some deep shite. PAUL did a great job at his own expense and not a small amount of time to help clients get there trophies. since aubry did not deem it necessary to pay the government of zim. there taxes etc.

If you had not been, I would also like to borrow $150,000.
