Anyone Like this Movie?
I do, I taped it off A&E years ago. I wonder what became of the double Stewart Granger carries? It's too bad movies like this won't be made again because they are too politically incorrect.

Perhaps that guy prefers black trackers, in green coveralls. The white/purple thing would throw me for a loop, too.

I'd say Stewart Granger caught him trying bag Gabriella without paying the trophy fees.

They should do a remake with good actors and sexier women.

Rhyme of the Sheep Hunter
May fordings never be too deep, And alders not too thick; May rock slides never be too steep And ridges not too slick.
And may your bullets shoot as swell As Fred Bear's arrow's flew; And may your nose work just as well As Jack O'Connor's too.
May winds be never at your tail When stalking down the steep; May bears be never on your trail When packing out your sheep.
May the hundred pounds upon you Not make you break or trip; And may the plane in which you flew Await you at the strip.

MOON PIE?!?!?!

Nganga, keep eating those Moon Pies and we will make you an honorary Southerner. Any chance that you can get RC Cola out there? Moon Pie and RC, the taste of the South.

I think it was based on a true story about one of Saeed's past Safaris. Wink

I remember watching that movie a long time ago and I also remember not being overly impressed though I did like the Zebra Stripped Lear 23. If I ever get rich I think my G-550 will wear Zebra strips!

We called em "scooter pies" as well, Just didn't think you southern boys would understand.

As far as that double, I think MS owns it now fishing

I saw that Bass Pro Shop had Moon Pies on sale when I was by there last week, didn't know they came in so many flavors- chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, orange, banana, etc. Can't remember the last time I saw an RC Cola.

For a last safari movie, I thought it was way too angry, cocky, rich, sexy, rogue, fatal and over-boiling.

It was more like a first safari movie, if you ask me.

Sounds like this movie was based loosely on the novel "Gilligans Last Elephant" which was a pretty good read. I,m sure "Hollywood" screwed up the adaption!
