Unfortunately we humans don't live forever but Walter was one of the few that we wish could live forever. Like many here I never meet him however through this forum and Saeed's kindness in supplying copies of his, Walter and friends African safaris I feel I do know him in some way and am envious of those who have had the privilege to hunt and share camp with him.

A very real shock to hear Walter has left us. My deepest condolences to you Saeed and to all who were family and friends of dear Walter. His memory will live on. RIP Walter.

May Walter pass on to the playing fields of heaven.

Walter was a good part of tricks and stories over the years, and most grew to looking forward to next years exploits.

My sincerest condolences to his family and to our gracious host Saeed. He was a great friend. I am honored to have known him and even share a tent with him.
