Alf,

I don't think you should have bought it 'unseen', as it appears to be broken in half.

A very nice rifle! Would it be imposing to ask how much it cost? Im looking for a "classic" rifle in 7x57 and Ive found a 20`s Mauser with the asking price of 1000E. I havent seen it yet and Im not sure of its value. Any ideas?

Absolutely gorgeous, Alf.

I have a Huskvarna (FN commercial model mauser 98) and I am about to start working with it and was wondering about giving it a case hardened finish such as the one on your rifle.

Does this finish require heat treatment that will change the current characteristics of the steel?

Gracias,

Montero < !--color-->

You are a legend!

I have a list over serial#, barrel lenght, caliber and year for Brno ZG-47. Do you want a copy of it?

Cheers

Truly Spectacular!!! I just picked up an Oberndorf for the wife. It will be her first centerfire rifle. I'm insanely jealous!
