BWAlf,
I don't think you should have bought it 'unseen', as it appears to be broken in half.

ceweA very nice rifle! Would it be imposing to ask how much it cost? Im looking for a "classic" rifle in 7x57 and Ive found a 20`s Mauser with the asking price of 1000E.

I havent seen it yet and Im not sure of its value. Any ideas?

monteroAbsolutely gorgeous, Alf.
I have a Huskvarna (FN commercial model mauser 98) and I am about to start working with it and was wondering about giving it a case hardened finish such as the one on your rifle.
Does this finish require heat treatment that will change the current characteristics of the steel?
Gracias,
Montero

You are a legend!

I have a list over serial#, barrel lenght, caliber and year for Brno ZG-47. Do you want a copy of it?
Cheers
