I just finished watching Rainer Josch's new DVD, Buffalo Hunters. Just like Mountain Buffalo, his first DVD, this one is excellent. The filming and editing is top notch. A collection of three stories about three hunters hunting on Mount Loosimingor in 2010. These DVDs epitomize to me what hunting DVDs should be, compared to most of the hunting DVDs out there today. I also think we could all learn a bit from the hunting respect and passion that is evinced by the German hunters featured. I commend this DVD to you.

My kind of hunting DVD. You don't see this on US TV. Not a whoop in it. The negative effects of inbreeding never crossed my mind while I watched. How can this be without the endless advertising of the likes of Tracks Accross Chifuti?

True. I would be quite comfortable (and even proud) to show my non-hunting friends either of Rainer's Mt Buffalo videos so that they could appreciate and understand what means so much to me about about hunting (buffalo, and in general), and would not feel the need to make one apology on behalf of my ilk.

I received mine in the mail Friday and finally just watched it with Frostbit! VERY excellent. My only critque of the first one was it was too short. This time they lengthened the hunt times and allowed for the showing of the whole story. The cinematography was even better this time.........if that's possible!

Rhyme of the Sheep Hunter
May fordings never be too deep, And alders not too thick; May rock slides never be too steep And ridges not too slick.
And may your bullets shoot as swell As Fred Bear's arrow's flew; And may your nose work just as well As Jack O'Connor's too.
May winds be never at your tail When stalking down the steep; May bears be never on your trail When packing out your sheep.
May the hundred pounds upon you Not make you break or trip; And may the plane in which you flew Await you at the strip.

Absolutely a DVD that a non-hunter could watch and begin to understand why we do what we do.

Magnificent!!
