With airfare being cheap and bookings down, our company was thinking of taking a few clients and their wives on an Africa trip. The clients are not serious hunters so hunting is only 1/2 the consideration. Where would you guys recommend taking a group to give them an African adventure and do a little hunting? They are used to nice accomodations. I was thinking of doing a Kruger trip and then a hunt for kudu, gemsbok, impala, warthog. What outfitter and what places would you recomend? What about the non hunters? Where should they go? Are there any must do trips? Would the wives be happy at an concession? Thanks | ||

If I was putting together such a trip I would likely contact L. David Keith, who Posts here at AR Gray Ghost Safaris, he represents several different South African operations and can help you select the one that most perfectly meets your needs both from a standpoint of accomodation quality (some are as good as any 4-star hotel) and non-hunting activities on offer. I have no doubt we have other outfitters here on AR who can help you. Mostly they will need to know how many will be in your party, how many will be hunting and if they need to arrange rental/loaner rifles. DEW, Welcome to AR. Prepare yourself for a flood of Private Messages from Hunting Outfitters eager to do business with you. I do have experience of taking large groups [Up to 5 German hunters with 4 wiwes] of people on such a hunting/Kruger National Park hunt/tour. I too would be glad to be considered, and therefore refer you to my website to read a bit about the planning of such events. In good hunting.
