TrophyShotPrintsTrophy Shot/Graeme's Hunters
Like many members here we all enjoyed Graeme's hunter's report and all the pictures too.
However, I felt there was one very important TROPHY SHOT that culminated the entire safari that could've used some digital enhancements with a bit of help on my part to try and recover some of the data in the blownout highlights...though taken with only a P&S and me having a very small image file I think it came out a little better and wanted to share.

TrophyShotPrintsThanks...I enjoy this stuff
It never ceases to amaze me about the amount of data that is still recoverable from a jpeg file, and albeit a VERY small jpeg img file such as this.
I used PS CS4...
Global adjustments as noted below...
*Shadow/Highlights Adjustments
*Curves Adjustments
*Saturation
*Brightness/Contrast
*Noise Reduction

TrophyShotPrintsThanks Anton....yeah, I get several PM's every now and then for digital enhancements... It feels good just to be able to help out our fellow hunters after all it's their special safari memory.

TrophyShotPrintsHey thanks everyone....Just had some time available and wanted to show what can be done to even a small jpeg img file; that had highlights blown severely and overall the picture was a bit washed out.
I enjoy doing "salvage/recovery" work to images as they're much more difficult to achieve a balanced image that is pleasing to the eye.
Always here to help if I can
