Having seen some of the great trophies taken with my colleagues this year I thought I'd share pictures of a some of the trophies taken with my outfit this season...

This 18" Blesbok was taken by Dennis from Washington State

Dennis also took this 26" Black Wildebeest

Bob - also from Washington - hunted this 54" Kudu

Paul from Wyoming hunted this beautiful Zebra with his .375 H&H in Natal

He also shot his 28.5" Nyala in Natal

And was the case with his Blue Wildebeest...

John from NYC used a .30-06 to hunt his Zebra with

And he used the same Manlicher to kill his Eland

John's Gemsbok

John's very nice Impala

This is Joe from Texas' Blue Wildebeest

Joe's Impala

Mike from Oregon showed that handguns can be useful hunting weapons... even on large animals...

Omar from Florida hunted Africa for the first time and got this nice Impala

Omar also killed a very nice Waterbuck

My congratulations and thanks to the hunters who hunted with Chris Troskie Safaris this year! For more pictures please visit the gallery section of my website.

Chris Troskie

Nice trophies Chris. That Blesbok is a Toad! Same for the Nyala. What caliber was the pistol used for the Giraffe?
Good hunting,
David

"Peace is that brief glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading" - Thomas Jefferson

Every morning the Zebra wakes up knowing it must outrun the fastest Lion if it wants to stay alive. Every morning the Lion wakes up knowing it must outrun the slowest Zebra or it will starve. It makes no difference if you are a Zebra or a Lion; when the Sun comes up in Africa, you must wake up running......

"If you're being chased by a Lion, you don't have to be faster than the Lion, you just have to be faster than the person next to you."

Good hunting,

That'd be a .500 Linebaugh loaded with Grizzly bullets. Mike (the hunter)'s company makes these bullets.
