I think this article is right on target. I've shared many of the same thoughts as the author, I'm just not as articulate in expressing them. Thanksw for posting it.
Great article. Bill posts on AR every so often and I always enjoy his posts. I miss the old Safari magazine when it was under his capable guidance! He has "been there, done that".
On the plains of hesitation lie the bleached bones of ten thousand, who on the dawn of victory lay down their weary heads resting, and there resting, died.
If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue, Or walk with Kings - nor lose the common touch... Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it, And - which is more - you'll be a Man, my son! - Rudyard Kipling
"Great article, the only flaw I saw was the rates the bottom dwellers charge for their "services". $200/hr is cheap for an attorney in most places."
I wrote the piece years ago as a favor to Ant Williams when he was launching his Zimbabwe (now African) Hunter magazine. $200/hr needs to be adjusted for inflation.
Thanks for the kind words, all.

That was a great article, kind of the essence of North American hunting. Most of us do it within a couple of hours of where we live, finding "trophy" can be difficult with work etc limiting the amount of time you have even when you know where there is a nice buck.
