A few weeks ago my buddy woke me up with his screams of a rat running across his bare legs. We were staying the night in a hut in a village in Northern Cameroon. I thought that he had over reacted and gave him the ol' horse laugh .. If I had only known ... Eeker That is a serious vermin ! Frowner Smiler

Once saw a bunch of huge rats killing a dog that had been dinged by a Matatu between Malindi town and the airport. One of the scariest things I've ever seen.

"Peace is that brief glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading" - Thomas Jefferson

Every morning the Zebra wakes up knowing it must outrun the fastest Lion if it wants to stay alive. Every morning the Lion wakes up knowing it must outrun the slowest Zebra or it will starve. It makes no difference if you are a Zebra or a Lion; when the Sun comes up in Africa, you must wake up running......

"If you're being chased by a Lion, you don't have to be faster than the Lion, you just have to be faster than the person next to you."

If it is a political Rat, then there is no trophy fee as it will have emptied your wallet before you can kill it.
