Ladies and Gentlemen,

We are so happy that our new addition to the zoo have started breeding.

A new baby scimitar horned oryx was born this morning.

A few days ago we had a baby addax come as well.

Some of you might remember Tabasco, the cheetah we were given which was in a rather poor state.

He is very health, and very happy as well now.

I have also added photos of our nubian ibex. for your pleasure.

"Peace is that brief glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading" - Thomas Jefferson

Every morning the Zebra wakes up knowing it must outrun the fastest Lion if it wants to stay alive. Every morning the Lion wakes up knowing it must outrun the slowest Zebra or it will starve. It makes no difference if you are a Zebra or a Lion; when the Sun comes up in Africa, you must wake up running......

"If you're being chased by a Lion, you don't have to be faster than the Lion, you just have to be faster than the person next to you."

Saeed,

Good pix. Thanks.

Can still hunt Nubian ibex in Sudan's Red Sea Hills. Also, Go WNW of Omdurman, and dorcas gazelle are plentiful.

Regards, Tim

I do not know why the photos above came out so well. As I have just discovered that I had the camera set at ISO 1600, for taking photos indoor!

Outside in the sun, they should have been so over-exposed!

But they did not, and I think the credit goes to the camera.

I used a Nikon D3X, and a Nikon 80-400 VR lense.
