They're just ugly enough to be really cool.

Both of these were taken in Namibia in June 2004 with Vaughan Fulton. First one's mine, second one's my dad's.

One of the toughest to stalk for me; the herds are very alert. Namibia 2004.

"Peace is that brief glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading" - Thomas Jefferson

Every morning the Zebra wakes up knowing it must outrun the fastest Lion if it wants to stay alive. Every morning the Lion wakes up knowing it must outrun the slowest Zebra or it will starve. It makes no difference if you are a Zebra or a Lion; when the Sun comes up in Africa, you must wake up running......

"If you're being chased by a Lion, you don't have to be faster than the Lion, you just have to be faster than the person next to you."

I've taken a Red, a Lichtenstein's, and Coke's. The Red is on the wall below, and the Lictenstein's is next. The Coke's is a female and that is another story! Kudude

I declined to shoot one on my first trip to Africa. After I got home, the more I thought about it, the more I wanted one. I got this one in July, 2005 in RSA (Free State) with my 7mm Rem Mag and a 160 gr Accubond handload.
