I've a military contact now stationed in Africa. Is there any price advantage to have him buy a double for me while stationed there? DRSS NRA Life Member VDD-GNA

WY, depends on where he is stationed. only decent double market I've shopped in is in South Africa, and many of those rifles have now gone on. but a couple of dealers and a range of skellums (conmen) are still selling. anywhere else on the continent would be a case of good luck and contacts turning up a shootable double or even a really good one. regards, tim

You can buy some very nice old big bores in RSA, but they are a pain to get out of there now, but it can be done with a little effort. Not a lot of doubles in RSA, most of them are in Zimbabwe. That could be a problem, don't really know. Ray Atkinson Atkinson Hunting Adventures 10 Ward Lane, Filer, Idaho, 83328 208-731-4120 rayatkinsonhunting@gmail.com

Doubles will come into the market soon. With this new gun laws people will sell. Tell it as it is!
