WYDouble Rifle prices in Africa
I've a military contact now stationed in Africa.
Is there any price advantage to have him buy a double for me while stationed there?

Tim CarneyWY, depends on where he is stationed. only decent double market I've shopped in is in South Africa, and many of those rifles have now gone on. but a couple of dealers and a range of skellums (conmen) are still selling.
anywhere else on the continent would be a case of good luck and contacts turning up a shootable double or even a really good one. regards, tim

AtkinsonYou can buy some very nice old big bores in RSA, but they are a pain to get out of there now, but it can be done with a little effort. Not a lot of doubles in RSA, most of them are in Zimbabwe. That could be a problem, don't really know.

HuntertaxiDoubles will come into the market soon. With this new gun laws people will sell.

WYThanks for the responses. I initially thought I might have a good opportunity.
