I just think you were trying to show off your sexy legs.

What a blatent attempt to seduce the female members of the board. You should be ashamed.

If you wore long britches and gaiters, perhaps that would not happen?

TJ,

I wore long pants the first day. They kept getting hung up in the scrub thorn. If you look at the pictures of the second buff it looks like grass about mid-thigh high. In that grass there is scrub thorn that you cannot really see until it has ahold of you. Long pants were just too noisy in that area of grass/scrub. When you are that close to 5-6 old cranky buff the last thing you need is to be ripping your pants. Tearing skin is a lot quieter. Now, not every hunt is conducted in that type of scrub and long pants and gaitors do help. But it just worked out that if we wanted to stalk this bunch of buff we had to go through the scrub. The PH and staff fared no better. Its just part of the price of hunting in Africa...........JJ

JJ:
Thanks, that is the best reason I've heard for wearing short britches.

That is nothing compared to the guy shown on one of Juan Pozzi's hunts that got nicked by a boar. You big baby, quit your crying or someone else will have to go and hunt your buff for you.

Great hunt, glad you had fun.. animal
