Larry, I am late to the game, as I have just seen and absorbed this.

You are a man in full and true.

Just sent funds to Brad via PayPal (mrlexma) for ten tickets.

Best wishes to Bossie. Tough break.

But by all accounts, he is a tough man. I am sure he will fight through this and fully recover.

Glad to help.

Thanks again everyone.

Please consider purchasing some tickets. Right now, I have some real serious boars showing up. There is one we refer to triple B (big black bastard) who may have shown himself last night for the first time in months. I need a better picture. The significance of triple B is that he knocked the spinner off a feeder that was 6’7” off the ground! His teeth are as thick as my thumb. He did it twice. He is a wiley SOB. Let’s put it this way. I have killed over a thousand hogs in my life. This is the only hog I would sit all night for.

If someone will post pictures for me , please PM me your address. One of these days I will find a Photobucket replacement.

As of right now, 90 numbers have been issued. If my count was right, this included 18 tickets issues at no charge because the purchaser purchased 5 tickets. That leaves us with 72 paid tickets.

In case you were wondering, the drawing will proceed even if we didn’t reach 100.

Does that mean those who purchased 5 or more tickets get more chances of winning??

That it does .

7 out of 90 is better odds than 7 out of 100.

I am a terrible gambler. So bad that I don't gamble at all, except for a good cause.

Even then, I never win. But this time, somehow, I did. I suppose it helped that I bought a lot of tickets and it was a random drawing, i.e., no skill on my part was involved!

It will be an honor and privilege to hunt with Larry, and I am looking forward to it very much.

As others have said, many thanks to Larry for getting behind this good cause in support of Bossie's recovery in such a personal and effective way. tu2

Thanks again to everyone. I will do my very best to make sure Michael has a good hunt.

These are wild animals so one never knows. I have a friend who told me earlier this month that I once said the funniest thing to him he had ever heard. I had no idea what he was talking about. He said I once asked him if he knew what wives and wild hogs had in common. My response was that what was okay on one day was not the next day for no apparent reason. He found that hysterical. I found it factual.

Right now, there are a hell of a lot of them.

We have gotten at least one contribution after the drawing from someone who knew it was too late. We appreciate that.

Thanks again to everyone!

Michael will have a hunt of the year. Visiting the ranch last year showed that this will be a fun and exciting hunt. And with Larry as the host even better. Lots of fun and lots of good humor tu2

I don't know that this is the final number. We are waiting on one check that I am certain is on the way. Also, someone contacted me this morning to make a contribution . Neither of those transactions is factored in. As of the time of the drawing, we had $7,178.10 net of PayPal fees to go to Bossie.

Well of course...wait no...but I have some pictures for shot placement grabbed from the net. Or hit them just under the ear...or on the shoulder.
