Ladies and gents, Due to the bad timing that this hunt became available, we are struggling to sell this tag. I know everyone already made their plans for 2008, but we have to try again. Leopard hunt, Limpopo Province, South Africa Day rates: 14 days @ $800.00 per day-$11200.00 Trophy fee for 1x Leopard- $3500.00 License fee- issued in the hunters name- $1000.00 6xImpala females for bait- $600.00 Bre-baiting can be done at no extra cost. Hounds are avialable at an extra cost of $3000.00 The area is well known for big Leopards in South Africa, and is only 2 hours drive from the OR Tambo airport. Andrew, No.....the property is our main concession...Mr. Boddington himself hunted Klipspringer there a couple of years ago. 404Jeff.....Just like shooting a Brown Hyena, it is very legal to hunt with hounds......IF YOU HAVE A PERMIT TO DO SO. That is why it is so expensive to use the dogs, we have to obtain a special permit for that. There are not many operators licensed to do this, but Hilton Saunders in Natal is one. In the normal run of things, you are not allowed to hunt anything with dogs, save birds. Although it can be done legaly, we have been advised that PHASA has decided that their members will not participate in this practise, and we must therefore inform people that are interested in this hunt, that we will not be offering hounds as an option anymore.
