Well, 2 weeks until I board the big plane for the long ride to go hunt Bull Ele

Question is: Should I start packing now or wait a bit longer

Another small problem, the day I leave is my 26th anniversary. Should I tell my wife now or wait until the day before?

If she's not aware by now that you are leaving to go hunt, and leaving on your anniversary, you might want to start packing now....... jumping

if your wife doesn't know what day you are leaving vs. your anniversary, it probably doesn't matter. i don't tell my wife until a day or 2 before i leave and i don't tell her when i will be home or where i am going. that way she doesn't worry unnecessarily! seems to work well rotflmo

well at the very least I should probably go make sure the 375 is sighted in this weekend...and its been a couple months since I corked off a few out of the 450

Probably would not hurt to go buy her a real nice anniversary present.......

Worst part is I will probably miss out on the "anniversary sex" which only comes around once a year, and I don't think I will be getting any "normal sex" after I tell her what day I am leaving

so I think I should go home, get comfy and get some before its to late-and then start packing

Back in January of 2002 I booked a 10 day long range fishing trip leaving San Diego on June 23rd, fishing off of Baja and returning on July 2nd.

I remembered in May that June 25th was my 25th wedding anniversary.

Inflatable Wife, now that's a quality idea!
Put her in the duffle bag and not miss out on the anniversary sex!

Best thing about an inflatable wife is the ability to deflate
Frostbit, I think you are on to something.
Wanna go halfses and patent the idea?

dang, just informed by my mother that my wife's birfday is tomorrow and mothers day is Sunday, course I leave on Wednesday

I think I am in for a whole lot of hot tongue and cold shoulder for dinner for a week unless I get busy real quick

I think we need to make a man law saying Christmas, wifes birfday, anniversary etc. are all on one day for everyone

All in good fun, but I woke up one morning in Namibia and realized it was my wife's birthday. No gift in advance, no sat phone. She forgave me, so there's hope.
