3 or more of the big ones in 2012 ?

Im planning a trip to africa in the near future. The deal is not done but the chances of an adventure is near.
In this post I would appreciate comments regarding what to hunt, who to hunt with an so on. Which time of year +++ .All input would help me a lot.
As a norwegian guy Im not used to luxury. The hunting camps doesnt have to be 5star standard. Trying to avoid charter flights would be a plus, but if the hunt quality is that much better flying is an option. If choosing a non scandinavian booking agent, it will be a first for me. Checking references via e-mail or the web is vital.

So far my "wishing list" is as follows:

Lion, Leopard plus Buffalo or Elephant non trophy.
.or... Leopard,Buffalo and Elephant bull.
In other words different combos of the B5 leaving out Rhino and South Africa.

Zambia, Zimbabwe,Tanzania. Others contries will be considered but these are my first choices.

Im not going after the records, but each species must be a good trophy. If an Elephant is a 45 or 90 puonder and the hunt was good, the 90 pounds is just a bonus if you see what I mean.
If possible and affordable I will try to bring my family (lady and my two princesses 2-4yrs) Smiler for a week or so sightseeing in for example Vic. Falls or other famliy friendly places.

Now ladies and gentlemen of the AR family, please read my post now and then and if you have some relevant information dont hesitate to let me know.

Thanks a lot !

Zim for Leopard, Buffalo and Elephant, but since your from Norway, if you can import Ele, then Moz. My associates there set a minimum of 70 lbs as a goal and they also have good buffalo and Leopard.

"Peace is that brief glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading" - Thomas Jefferson

Every morning the Zebra wakes up knowing it must outrun the fastest Lion if it wants to stay alive. Every morning the Lion wakes up knowing it must outrun the slowest Zebra or it will starve. It makes no difference if you are a Zebra or a Lion; when the Sun comes up in Africa, you must wake up running......

"If you're being chased by a Lion, you don't have to be faster than the Lion, you just have to be faster than the person next to you."

I highly recommend doing the hunt in Tanzania! There you will find it all (except of course Vic Falls). The falls are great, but so are Ngorongoro, Serengeti, Kilimanjaro, Mt Meru, Lake Manyara, Tarangire, Zanzibar & Indian Ocean. Wink

Whatever you do, include lion. The hunting future of the other members of the big four are safe by comparison. If you want a lion, the time is now.
