Butch,

I'm so glad you took my advise. I think you'll be happy. BTW the Coues report is up.

I met with the two outfitters I am hunting with this year, Shane Johnson's Four Seasons Safaris for stag, chamois and tahr and Vicente Gil at Caza Hispanica for a beceite ibex in Spain. Lined up a fun safari with a group of fellows with CMS for 2014 and FINALLY got the Lord Derby on the books and scheduled for January 2015 with Jose Chelet in Cameroon!

Oh, and Aaron's DVD, the obligatory DSC shirt, my good friend John Tolmay's Lord Derby Eland bronze and put a deposit down with Rick Mason for a classic .35 Whelen on an "09 Argentine action. As usual, it was a great show...

A got a beer and some Cheetos courtesy of my good friend Begno. Also learned how to open beers with my wedding ring. All in all a very good show.

I trotted out RM's ring trick at events the last two nights. The simple folk of Alabama are rightly impressed!

At the 2012 DSC conv. my wife met John Tolmay at his booth & while admiring his work they became friends & he invited her to sit in his booth & visit.
One of his friends dropped by & ask who she was, so John introduced her as his fiancee.
Later she brought me by his booth to introduce her husband to her fiancee. We became friends as well & this year we got to meet his lovely wife Di.
We passed them on I-20 coming home & as I got along side them I blew my horn to get his attention, scared the crap out of poor ole John. I had to e-mail him when we got home to apologize.
Sure wish I could have hunted with him back in the day.

Yeah John is a great guy and a very talented artist. He is an old Rhodie through and through and quite a character. Di is a doll and a true lady... she is certainly the "much better half" of that duo and John will attest to it. If I had Mike Jine's money I would have bought his new buffalo bronze. That was impressive!

Will,
Glad an Aggie could show a War Eagle a new drinking trick!

Just a couple books & prints for me, but talked my wife into going with me in April for elephant with Karl Stumpfe, so I bought her a plane ticket.
