There seemed to be several videos joined together. There was a huge herd of buff in the beginning doing a great job of keeping the lions at bay. Then there was another clip of the calf and a few buff. Again they were doing a fairly good job. Then just one or two buff protecting the calf. Finally the "full grown" buff all by himself. I had read somewhere that the animals central system just shuts down while they are being eaten alive! Don't know how we know this!
I agree that some of those buff were huge!

It appeared to be an excerpt from a film being shown on NGEO TV regarding the relationship between lions and buff in the Okovanga Delta in Botswana. Interesting film in which the momentum continually shifts between the herd and the pride.

Eekeractually it is from 0.58 min - 1.00 min and then 1:05-1:07 - anybody has an idea how much is it, my guess would be 50+ ?
