Badger MattI don't know what a good buff looks like but that one just after 1 minute has a great spread.

analog_peninsulaI think the moral of the video is that it's better to be nearer the top of the food chain than the bottom.

30ott6I was surprised by the lack of fight in the bull.

PeterThere seemed to be several videos joined together. There was a huge herd of buff in the beginning doing a great job of keeping the lions at bay. Then there was another clip of the calf and a few buff. Again they were doing a fairly good job. Then just one or two buff protecting the calf. Finally the "full grown" buff all by himself. I had read somewhere that the animals central system just shuts down while they are being eaten alive! Don't know how we know this!
I agree that some of those buff were huge!
Peter.

<Hunter Formerly Known As Texas Hunter>It appeared to be an excerpt from a film being shown on NGEO TV regarding the relationship between lions and buff in the Okovanga Delta in Botswana. Interesting film in which the momentum continually shifts between the herd and the pride.
