IF they win, then animals can own property. If animals can own property, then they are people. If they are people, hunters will be murdering them. I detest PETA. -- Promise me, when I die, don't let my wife sell my guns for what I told I her I paid for them. | ||

In the States any copyright requires an author. Under American law, authors are people. So it's a frivolous suit. Somewhere I read that a guy had worked out what the suit would cost, and it was in five figures. So surely, spending that amount of donor money on something like this is fraud?

did the monkey have explicit, written permission to use the camera? if not, this is an act of vandalisim, and should be referrred to the proper local authorities for processing. photographer can counter sue for being made to look like a monkee. Loss of business, etc. | |||

Those monkeys shouldn't be in the zoo - if you gave them their human right to privacy, they would be able to do whatever consenting adults do in their own homes or in the streets if they really want to rub it in.
