A Client of mine used it last year on the following animals with great success:
Eland
Kudu Bull
Gemsbok
Waterbuck
Impala
Blesbok
Red hartbeest

I was impressed by the performance, on all the shots. Will recommend it to anyone.

hope this helps. I have the reloading data he used if you want it.

Regards

Charl

I can ad that all were one shot kills apart for the Eland, but that had nothing to do with bullet performance.

Charl,
I was using them in my .280 when we hunted together. I took the Impala, Duiker and Jackal. I taken many African PG with the 160 grain, up to Kudu, Gemsbok, Hartebeast and Wildebeast. Excellent bullet. I have not used them in .375 however. I have used Swift A-Frames (Lion) in .375 H&H.

I hunted last year in Africa with the Serengeti Rifle hunt at Didimala Safaris in SA. One hunter was using a custom 375 from Serengeti and 260 Nosler Accubonds. I was looking through my 8 power Binos when he took a mature Gembok at 255 meters (laser). What I thought was the red dust flying was actually the explosive spray of blood coming out the other side. The Gembok fell in it's tracks in a pool of blood and I found blood spray at leasts 5 meters beyond the animal. Later he took a Red Hartebeest with a head on shot to the chest at almost 300yards. The animals fell in it's tracks in a huge pool of blood. Results were very impressive. Same with his Black Wildebeest. He did shoot a Red Hartebeest too high and it got back up an we did not recover it so even with a 375 you need to make a good shot. On a Nosler Web site I read that they do everything that a Partition does but with a longer more aerodynamic profile. I may try them in my 376 Steyr if they are not to long. I also want to try the GS Customs in 250 grain that are made for the 376 Steyr. Of course I think they are in a different league of bullet. Sort of like premium and super premium.

The Nosler Accubond 260 grs in 375 H&H Mag is a superb bullet, on the most of big game.

It has a very good kill performance.
The accuracy is also suberb in my rifle threshotplacements is in of 3/4"

A Fallow deer shot with the 375 H&H Mag in a Sako Finnbear, with Nosler Accubond 260 grs, distance 120 meters, the shoulder lookes bad, but when i cut away about 1 pound the shoulder was OK. It fell on the spot.

I find a photo of the testshooting with the Accubond 265 grs.

As you see the accuracy is excellent

Nice!

Hopefully they shoot in the new 375 my smithy is building me.

The BC is around 450 and the SD is around 275. Should be one hell of a bullet.

It was supposed to be the Hammer of Thor!

Now that it's not a 358 Norma, not sure if I will still call it that anymore. Not sure if it was the smiths' fault or what but he had a hard time getting a 358 barrel, so I found a 375 barrel and I decided I needed a 375 Ruger.

I took a number of animals in Namibia a few years ago exclusively using the 260 grain accubond. Great accuracy. We only recovered 3 bullets. One plowed through both shoulders of a mountain zebra at 40 yds and retained about 55%. One was a follow up shot (texas heart shot) on a wounded gemsbok. This one retained 72% and penetrated at least 4 feet of antelope. (From rearend to front shoulder). 3rd was a kudu at less than 50 yds, retained 77%. Everything else was a pass throught with quarter sized exits and great blood trail. It worked exceptionally well for us. Bob

Sounds like the right bullet for this heavy barreled Ruger "sendaro".

Sorry David, I kept it to .375 as that was asked, but I remembered when I read your post.....

Good luck D99, they are strong bullets.....

I have heard that Nosler is going to make them in 300grains as well in 375 caliber.

Can anybody confirm if this is correct??

I used them on about 40 head of PG in 2004 and 2007, up to zebra, kudu, and eland. Fantastic results and I love them. Very accurate for me. The 375 300 grain is listed on Nosler's website as new for 2008 - I did talk to the Federal reps, and they said they were not going to load them in their ammo, only the 260 AB.
