Lack of knowledge – by instruction. Lack of skills – by practice. Lack of experience – by time doing it.

One cannot cure:

Stupidity – nothing helps! Anti hunting sentiments – nothing helps! Put-‘n-Take Outfitters – money rules!

My very long ago ancestors needed and loved to eat meat. Today I still hunt!

Hi again,

thanks for the warm welcome.

The blesbuck was taken on a friend's farm near Vrede in the NE Free State. He himself shot an 18 1/2" ram earlier this year. I saw photos of that animal, an amazing "once in a lifetime" trophy. Mine makes Rowland Ward with an inch to spare, so I am not complaining either.

I live in Pretoria, RSA and have been a avid hunter since I was a young boy hunting with my father in the Eastern Cape -- still my favouruite part of this beautifukl country.

I have three rifles; a CZ .22lr, .30-06 BSA & a CZ .375 HHM and I am looking to add another one to that -- something in the 7mm region, for longer ranges.

As for my username...I have been using it on other forums and it has kind of stuck now. South Africans here qwill know where it is derived from. Our president Jacob Zuma is well known for singing his favourite struggle song Awuleth' Umshini Wami (English, Bring me my machine gun) at public gatherings and my username is a contraction of this. I have no affiliation with JZ though.

I look forward to being involved in the forum!

Cheers
