That was the title of a presentation I used to use to show investors how a stock market darling can come apart at the seams. It also seems to be appropriatte here. Another theme I follow is "Worry about what you can control" Obviously AR is under attack by a few trolls with WAY too much time on their hands who have found an outlet for their sociopathic tendencies. We can't control them, so don't worry about them.
What we can control is the response we give them. Since I have most of them on IGNORE, I can't tell what they are saying to each of you but I do see the thread titles. If you are responding to them then YOU ARE A BIG PART OF THE PROBLEM. I know, I know, they are spouting lies, making inflamatory statements and such, But you are the only person that decides whether to give them what they want, which is a response, thats what they are getting off on. You bring them pleasure by getting fired up, why do them the favor?
I implore each and every one of the members to use the ignore mode and do not respond. They will leave. Suck it up and let them spew. They will find someone else to annoy.
Without action AR is doomed. The answer is in our hands, if you respond then maybe you're the troll magnet.
Haven't you ever moved away from a loud mouth in a bar, it's the better option than trying to shut him up.

Very sound advice....I've given the same advice a time or two recently. In just the last couple weeks I have activated the 'Ignore' feature on a few of the new 'members'. Life is too short to let these idiots get under your skin. This is a great forum but the trolls have sure caused some problems lately.
I have been thinking about starting a 'Who Are You Ignoring' topic......that way, the REAL AR members can get on the same page and put all the known trolls, most of which are new 'members' within the last couple weeks, on Ignore.
You've got a few "people" trying to run a great site into the ground. Ignore.......the button works great. I think the thing that bothers me the most is all of the whining about how inconvenient it is because the site has been running slowly. Saeed has mega time and resources invested here and, if there is a problem, then, at the least, we should be patient until it is solved to show our appreciation and support. Think about it, the site collapses only if we the members allow it. This site doesn't need fair weather supporters...........
Yes, Kevin is 110% correct...I emailed a few of my friends told to ignore them...But they even got under my craw and I had to respond... But now total abstension is in order..
