Pretty light farther south, but the Luangwa catchment area's a lot closer to the ITCZ. | |||

When I hunted with Mike and Ross Heath, our camp was on the Luangwa. Not much water in mid October. I wondered how much water flowed during the rainy season. WOW! That's a lot of water. | |||

Awesome photos. The top photo is how most of the South African lowveld rivers look like now. Its almost the start of the next dry season. Herbivores are in for a very bad time.
