I have a shipment ready to ship in Africa. Emiac is handling it there. The ocean shipping option is $1000 cheaper than air freight to Atlanta. I live closer to Atlanta being in North Carolina. I have previously used Flora and Fauna in New York and they have always done a great job. Any recommendations for a quote from the Houston port?

thanks you

Well Worldwide has handled my last three shipments from Zim. Very professional and reasonably priced IMHO.

I have used both Well Worldwide and Coppersmiths...both did fine.

Have used Well for the last few times. Have a shipment coming in with them now.

I guess I have to differ. I used Wells Worldwide for my last shipment to Houston and all their fees were twice as much as Hunter International Brokerage Services in California

I am pleased for all the hunters here reporting their positive experiences with Well Worlwide. Personally, I wouldn't waste my time with them having received very poor service from Joy who failed to deliver promised info and lied to me.

On the other hand a current consignment is being handled by Hunter International ( Vanessa Tabugan ) having being sent on from Rhodes Bros Taxidermy, Texas, ( Gary Broach ) about both of whom I can only say EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT ! Both are very prompt on communication and provide first rate service.

I know it would make sense to ship a Texas trophy via Houston to NZ but frankly the extra cost of sending via California is worth it when handled by true professionals.

Is ABM still around in Houston? Used them in 2007 and thought their prices were absolutely stratospheric and totally unjustified.

I think that they're called Wells Worldwide now.
