| True trophy animals, Saeed, and beautiful images. Except for all of the unshaven fat guys - I get enough of those images when I look in the mirror every morning! Makes me miss the Selous. No better hunting grounds exist on earth. Thanks!

| Roy and me shot a kongoni each. Had a rain storm and got soaked to the skin. |

Notice how a few rain-showers are able to transform a charred piece of ground overnight. |

| We had a strong rain storm last night. Roy shot a buffalo this morning in a very thick forest. Took us over 8 hours to recover it. We are the only ones back in camp so far, relatively early by 4:30 |

Watch out, some serious stuff is coming your way in the next 3-5 days. |

| We had a 24-hour shower just now, after a month of drought here. Outstanding photography ! Richer than ever in so many ways ! I cannot help but wonder if Walter has been leaving his chocolate fudge candy in the camp seats: Dean is a good sport, can take some abuse from Walter and laugh about it: His Heym 470 NE is a good sport too, well used, not abused: |

| I wonder if there was a video camera in the lion blind, and later at the kill? I doubt the Walterhog that did the lion in was recovered, must have zipped right through. I wonder about the necropsy of the lion ... Saeed will have plenty to tell if he ever gets time. Capstick could have made a pretty good tale out of that lion incident, from his stool at Harry's. Rip ... |

Lots of the photos are taken by others. Dwight shot a buffalo yesterday and Roy shot an impala. Walter starts hunting today, so please keep your fingers crossed. Poor Pete. He has to find Walterable animals for him. |

| Lots of good photos, looks like everyone is having a really good time. The buff photos are great but my favorites so far are the trackers wearing the “AR” caps. Keep posting, please.

| I just love that last buffalo. Deep hooks AND wide.

| That picture of you between Roy and Alan is awesome. Your smile captures your feelings for these two fine PH’s.

| What does hakuna matata mean? Hakuna matata roughly translates to "there are no troubles" in Swahili. The phrase was popularized in English by the 1994 Disney movie The Lion King, where it’s translated as "no worries." It has a connotation of not worrying about things outside a person's control.Like Walter's behavior. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nbY_aP-alkw Rip ... |

| I am amazed and envious of all the wild animals you see on safari. You probably saw more game in one day than I see on a 10 or 14 day safari in the Zambezi valley. |

Nothing fabulous about rain here. We went out in the morning and got soaked. Back in camp for the rest of the day. |

| Good to see a small breeding herd of elephants with a few calves.
It is hard to believe the Selous once had more elephants as there are buffalo now. |
