Found this on The Hunting Report from July 2016, looks like it was a fantastic hunt.

Best of luck, have a great trip.

Any idea if Kanana (owned by Jason Bridger) has changed hands?

It was on the market in 2014 when I was in Maun.

Kanana doesn`t do hunting anymore I believe.
Jason B is now at Tholo if I`m not mistaking.

I have hunted Bokamoso recently. There is some common ownership between Tholo and Bokamoso, and most of the guides work on both properties. It is a large piece of land and probably a bit "wilder" than Tholo. I saw lions, elephants, and a leopard while hunting.

Probably a slightly lower density of game on Bokamoso, but the trophy quality of kudu, eland, gemsbok, and waterbuck is excellent.

Good blue wildebeest, and fair springbok. Pigs and impala tend to be a bit small.

PM if added info is needed.

I book hunts on both properties, and they are both top shelf PG destinations. Bokomoso is a bit smaller but does have DG coming through from the "park" it adjoins. It is also an hour or so closer to Maun. Tholo is solely owned by the Eaton's and their home is there.

I had a husband and wife kill 58" and 62" kudu on consecutive days at Bokomoso this past season.

You will have a great experience with great trophies at either location. Bokomoso I also almost completely booked for 2018...

Tim,
I saw those pictures on another forum. Along with all the other animals they took.

Those kudu would blow your mind!

They certainly had a great hunt but honestly everyone that hunts either place always has a fantastic time with some great animals.

I know you are in the business of selling hunts but to say everyone has a "fantastic time" is a bit off. It is a good hunting property but my wife and I will not book there again.

What year did you hunt the property and who was your guide?

Seamster - sorry to hear that. All of our clients have raved about the hunting. I guess I shouldn't have used the all encompassing "everyone". Sorry you did not have a good time.

It is a good hunting property. Coincidently the trip was booked through WTA. We did not have an awful time there but just enough odd things happened to keep us from returning. No big deal, it is a good place to find a nice kudu.

Was your guide Richard or Jaco when you hunted there?

when I hunt through them, I have just usually gone with a tracker on my own, or hunted some with Jason in the past.

We are attempting to book all our folks there now when the Spanish partner is not in camp as we know he can be a problem at times.
