I just shot 8 rounds with my Blaser S2 in 470 NE to test accuracy and to adjust the scope with the open sights.

Result

Round 1+2+3+4, 50 meter (55 yards)

Used to sight in the scope and adjusst it to open sights.

Round 5+6 Scope 4x, 50 meter (55 yards)

13 mm cc (~1/2 inch)

Round 7+8 open sights, 50 meter (55 yards)

32 mm cc (~1 1/4 inch)

Total round 5+6+7+8 50 meter (55 yards)

47 mm cc (less than 2 inch)

All 8 shots were made within 30 mnutes and altered right barrel left barrel.

This makes me very happy, I dont think I can ask for more?

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Only problem at the moment is to move the impact point up with about 15 cm (6 inch). How much will I be able to adjust with more powder in the load????

Congratulation Christer!

Hope my S2 in 9,3x74R (Safari configuration - will get a 500/416 later on) will be the same...

Good hunting!

Mark

I just cant see anyone else need it. I now you already have a scope on your 458

BTW I think anyone who says no to a scope on a double just is afraid of being a member in the half moon club. You need to hold the gun!!

Perhaps I should bring a first aid kit with me on the 22:nd...

Well, should it come to the worst, it will at least be a scar from a Nitro Express! I can live with that

Regards,
Martin
