I guess the point is supposed to be that the tracker's sight is crude while the others are more refined.

I actually think the peep on the tracker's rifle is more robust than most of the others shown. It looks like something a white gunsmith in Africa would build.

It seems Finn Aagaard built a peep out of a piece of angle iron. But I can't remember which rifle he used it on.

Hunting in Africa is an adventure. The number of variables involved preclude the possibility of a perfect hunt. Some problems will arise. How you decide to handle them will determine how much you enjoy your hunt.

Just tell yourself, "it's all part of the adventure." Remember, if Robert Ruark had gotten upset every time problems with Harry
Selby's flat bed truck delayed the safari, Horn of the Hunter would have read like an indictment of Selby. But Ruark rolled with the punches, poured some gin, and enjoyed the adventure.

Sorry no extra images of trackers rifle.
apparently that .375H&H, has been working in Zim. for around 50yrs on Ele,Cape Buff, lion, etc.

Harry Selbys' description of his .416, sounds like it looked similar to what that .375hh does,.. before he sent it away for re-barrel,reblue and re-checkering.
