I guess the point is supposed to be that the tracker's sight is crude while the others are more refined.
I actually think the peep on the tracker's rifle is more robust than most of the others shown. It looks like something a white gunsmith in Africa would build.
It seems Finn Aagaard built a peep out of a piece of angle iron. But I can't remember which rifle he used it on.

apparently that .375H&H, has been working in Zim. for around 50yrs on Ele,Cape Buff,lion, etc.
Harry Selbys' description of his .416, sounds like it looked similar to what that .375hh does,.. before he sent it away for re-barrel,reblue and re-checkering.
