Mark Sullivan uses the term kill to promote himself...I gather MS enjoys killing just like Hemingway?
The two do have the alpha male thing in common.....Recreational hunters seem to slobber all over what MS says and does.

'were going to track him, were going to hunt him down, were going to find him, then were going to kill him' - PH Mark Sullivan.

OF course, we need to differentiate the times when MS is actually hunting (vs) just killing.

With a sig line like that I'm not surprised with such a distasteful post.

Honestly, the most disturbing post I have read in a while.

My sig line is a quote from Ernest Hemingway . You might have heard of him.

Then perhaps the proper thing to do would be to put it in quotation marks and give the credit to Hemingway.

Thanks for the eyewitness account, Mike.

Talk about stupid! This crew of Chinese nitwits is lucky more of them weren't killed.

James Mellon published a number of photos of injured, dead and even half-eaten unfortunates in his book, African Hunter.

I found them gruesome, but precisely for that reason, quite instructive.

Times have apparently changed. We are all so bloody sensitive (or politically correct).

This photo, had you been able to take and publish it, and had it gone viral, might have taught some lessons.

If this dead Chinese fellow had seen such a photo before he decided to take his last walk in the woods, he might have made a wiser decision.

Mike

Wilderness is my cathedral, and hunting is my prayer.

That is what I thought. The photo would have been a good warning not to be so careless around elephants and other wild animals. It could have been turned into a poster and strategically placed in game parks. I bet it would have done a lot of good and kept other people from making the same mistake. The deceased's face was already covered up by his shirt so his identity would have been protected. In defense of the Chinese gentleman killed, I imagine if you are from a country of 1.1 billion people with a very small gun and hunting culture only educated by what you see on TV that in going to Botswana you might as well be going to Mars. They probably had no clue in how dangerous their actions were.

And I still like to shoot my rifle and I still like to kill and Africa is still where you go to do that.

STAY IN THE FIGHT!
