Mario: thanks for putting the photo. I also have some photos of this great animal. I think this famous bull is called "Babu". You are correct, it is Ngorongoro Crater.

Wow!

Just knowing these big guys are still out there somewhere will keep you walking in the 100+ degree heat to see what as the other end of some big tracks!

My PH from Kambako Safaris said that if you find areas where the earth has been torn by the Tusks during the Ele travel, not only would you keep tracking but you would also sleep on its tracks!

What an animal.
Jamie Wilson just sent me a photo of one of his hunters in Block C, Niassa, Mozambique who killed a #110 pounder. One side was broken off to 45#.
I don't know how to post pictures, but I don't have permission anyhow so I won't.

Jamie Wilson is the man when it comes to Niassa, followed by the likes of Derek Littleton, Johnny Jonson, Stu Taylor and Mgr Don Price.
