Not hunting...but I have a crowd that wants to see the migration in Northern Tanzania before a hunt in a different location. Any recommendations for a good photo safari operator in that area? Looking for a luxury East African Tent experience.
Thanks.

We just finished a wonderful hunt in Maswa with Thomas Dames. Though he is a PH, his main business is conducting the type of trips you’re asking about. Their company is a partner in Ker & Downey. Tell him Dan and Danny recommended him to you. www.derekdames.com

You don't say what your budget is, but there are an incredible amount of options.

Singita Grumeti is the most incredible place I have been. Their facilities are beyond incredible. https://singita.com/lodges-and...ps/singita-tanzania/

Asilia is excellent, and they have camps all over. I have been to the camp in the Selous, and the food was the best I have experienced in the bush, with very nice accommodation as well. Their Northern TZ operations are even nicer. https://www.asiliaafrica.com/

&Beyond and Elewana (https://www.andbeyond.com/ and https://www.elewanacollection.com/) are top class, with great reputations, although I haven't stayed at either.

There are many great places, these are just 4 of the larger or more recognized. Get suggestions and go with one of the larger known entities, there are a lot of booking agents, companies with just a few cruisers, and middlemen who you should avoid.

Rungwa Safaris might be worth looking at as well; top hunting concessions and camps/service that are second to none.
