No. Marc Jamison is the owner of Jamison International, peerless brassmaker, and all around nice guy. He is not related to Rick Jamison, as far as he knows, "unless it is somewhere back at Plymouth Rock that I don't know about," as he said to me when I asked him the same question.

As for me, my earliest "American" family member, besides that Cherokee in the wood pile, was Johan Berry, who made it to the east coast with Sir Walter Raleigh in 1578.

Jeffe - I'll loan you the reamer and HS gauges, Mausers are not my strong suit and I would not do justice by the project. Besides, I owe you for the prototype brass.
