How soon a year goes by!

In 2023 our clients hunted in:

Cameroon
Mozambique
Namibia
South Africa
Tanzania
Zimbabwe
Argentina
Australia
Bulgaria
Greenland
New Zealand

As much as we would like to! It's not every year that we get to travel the world, but we keep in regular contact with the outfitters we work with to see how their seasons are going and what new opportunities they may have. To mention a few, Greenland has been a very popular destination and the outfitter is going to be offering a new winter hunt from this year focusing on Caribou when they have hard antlers. Due to new permits being issued we have high hopes for an area for a once in a life time elephant! We are talking at a chance at a 100lb! Although we are not promoting them actively, Russian hunts are on again and a few American hunters have been going. The areas we hunt in Kamchatka for big moose (two bulls over 70" were taken by the last clients there) are still going strong and have been hunted the last couple of years by local Russian hunters hunting moose for meat mostly! Also in Kamchatka the outfitters areas that produced some of the best bears in the past have not been hunted since 2019 due to Covid and then the war, so there are high expectations for some real big bears this spring for those who will go. Our outfitter partners in Australia offer some of the best pricing for buffalo and banteng and the same case goes for the big red estate stags in New Zealand, so do check out our rates before planning your hunt down under. For hunters looking for free range, native red stags, we have access to some of the best areas in Bulgaria and Hungary. The red stag and fallow deer rut is to be experienced in these countries, the forest comes alive with the sound of roaring stags! For serious elk hunters looking for something different try a Maral hunt in Kazakhstan. You will hunt in remote areas on horseback with no hunting pressure. A Siberian roe deer or Mid Asian Ibex can also be added to this hunt.

Cameroon remains the last country to hunt Lord Derby Eland go before its gone! If LD Eland is too rich for your taste then hunt Western Savannah buffalo, roan and other species of West African plains game. You will still be able to shoot Kudu, Impala and Zebra in 65 other countries long after hunting in W.Africa is over! There is quiet murmurs of Benin reopening this year. Hopefully all being well we will offer these hunts again in 2025. Sadly Burkina Faso is still very dangerous with no signs of coming right! For those looking to climb mountains we offer most of the Chamois species as well as Ibex and Marco Polo hunts in different countries.

We also know great places and operators for lion, elephant, leopard, buffalo and big croc (a really under-rated hunt). As well as just super areas for southern African plains game whether you are a first time African hunter or a veteran of many African safaris.

We will be at the following hunting shows to chat about all these opportunities and more. You will also be check out our Gunstix Shooting sticks in person - they really are a game changer!
