I just got back this evening from the Dallas Safari Club show, and as in previous years, I REALLY had a great time. But the show was not the only highlight: because of this website and forum that Saeed has made possible, I have made a whole new group of friends that gather each year & have a grand time at the show. I really want to thank Saeed for giving all of us this opportunity to gather all the information made possible from this site, but also for the wonderful people that we get to fellowship with each time we gather in Dallas. Thank you, Saeed ..... you have given us MUCH !!!

An AR booth with two celebrities! All kidding aside, Saeed, AR has put many of us light years ahead in the African hunting game, and has allowed us to, not only receive, but offer our opinions and advice as well on a myriad of topics. Thanks my friend.

Saeed,

The site is better organized, allways online, more active with many, many readers, than any other web forum I participate in. All-round a great job. Much value to be had by all involved. The true value is evident by the virtual world becoming real with the AR folks actually meeting in places like DSC and SCI Reno ...

Hats off to you!

I think the above posts have pretty much said what I would say, however I do have a question.
Who is Walter? From what I have read he is a close friend of our gracious host, a lousy shot, does a grest BBQ and has a terrific sense of humour...... more info please.

Saeed,
A big thank you from me for the site. If you do get to DSC (and you must bring Walter), I think...no, I know, you'd be well taken care of by all of AR.

Speaking of Walter.....either he was in Tulsa Oklahoma a week ago, or he has a twin! I was driving, looked over and saw a guy walking down the sidewalk that looked EXACTLY like Walter (well, maybe his hair was longer)......wish I'd had a camera......I would have turned around and taken his photo!

Yes, Saeed, this is a wonderful thing you have created.
We looked around the dinner Friday night and the gathering Saturday night at all the happy faces and marveled. It is an honor to be able see and meet such truly nice people with common interests. And to think it all came about because of this forum. It's hard to believe that this is the result of a website. The stories (a little bull thrown in here and there), the pictures, and the jokes - all just too much fun!
Thank you for this gift you have given.

Saeed,
It was another great gathering on Saturday night and many new faces were present, it gets bigger every year as new people show up..To think it all started about 4 years ago with a very small handfull of AR members in Judge Erns hotel room as he christened me with mineral oil and tampons or something like that..It has developed into a place to put a face to a name, and meet some really nice folks..

Best of all is I see people that had a pre conception about each other that when in person, really liked each other, self encluded.

I want to Thank you personally for your support and your long time friendship. Give Hessa a big hug..

The most generous TEXAN I've ever met is Saeed. I didn't realize Texas's Eastern border was that far East! Saeed was not only the Texas state champion in Sporting clays competition, but went to the nationals, and brought the Championship for it back to Texas a few years ago! So as far as I'm concerned, Saeed is a Son of Texas, and I thank him for simply being a great human being, as well as being an adopted son of Texas! beer

PS:Hell, we might even let Walter come in to Texas, and long as he has a short term VISA, and an exit strategy! Big Grin

I don't go a single day without logging on here, and most days its several times.....thats how good this site is. I learned so much here and had many enjoyable hours of reading and posting my thoughts and experiences. This site would really be missed by so many which is all the more reason to keep it respectable and informative. Many thanks to Saeed for hosting the site and also thanks to the moderators for keeping the peace and setting us right.

Saeed, on behalf of many I would like to thank you for your continued generosity. Part of the successful formula of this site is the lack of commercialism - and that is a direct result of your willingness to give. I hope to some day meet you so I can express my gratitude face to face.
