Cool. I just love the Nubian / Desert Ibex and the fox.

BTW do you have a managed breeding program that maintains genetic diversity and avoids inbreeding? Particularly relevant for the Adax, gazelle & Arabian oryx.

Yes we do.

There are many conservation here that we share breeding animals with to avoid in breeding.

Lovely Saeed, thank you for sharing. One of the pics seems to be of an India "Gharial", the long slender snout...

I think you mean the Dama Gazelles.

The only animal we have from India is the black buck.

Saeed,

Please excuse my ignorance but could you tell me something about the zoo?

Do you or a group of people own it?
Is it strictly private or can people possibly come and see it when in town?

I must say it pretty impressive.

This is a privately owned preserve.

It is not open to the public, but many schools do visit us both with children to enjoy being close to animals. And older students who do use our place to study these animals.

If you are in town let me know I will be happy to arrange a visit for you.

Steve,

I have no idea what the ducks are.

Years ago my daughter wanted ducks to add to our collection,. so we bought a few, and they have been breeding ever since.

Thanks Saeed...... In that case, I'd guess at maybe an Indian Runner hybrid of some kind. Wink
