I just got word that my client Al Clark took a 55lb bull today at SSG. His hunt started on Oct 4th, so he was about 5-6 days into his hunt, with a fine elephant bull down! He was guided by Nixon!

Again, can't speak to the other hunts/hunters - but my elephant clients are now 4 out of 4 with SSG in 2013!

Aaron,

Simon Dzingai does now have a buff approval for his Zim ph license. However for years he did not. He guided dangerous game clients without it. I am sitting next to one right this second.

Simon received a B restriction ( buffalo/ leopard/ plains game ) in October 2012 at the practical exams held in Nyakasanga, prior to that he had a learners licence.

I'm glad Simon now holds a license, so there is one less thing for folks to bitch about. The son of one of the best PHs in Zim is very likely to be a very good PH. I hunted Deka with a white PH, posted a report here, had a great hunt, and no one here pointed out that my PH didn't have a license, I found out later.
If you are going to castigate Nixon for using Simon in some unlicensed capacity you have to include the white operators who hired Simon as a PH as well. Double standard ? BTW, I would hunt with Simon in a heartbeat.

Simon is one of the most intense, success-driven PHs I've ever met.

From what I gather Simon is top notch. BUT remember, to be excepted/approved by some here on AR, he must be an Ordained Angel, with nothing but a Snow White reputation going back to the day he was born. Roll Eyes Never mind the GOOD qualities he has in the field, that doesn't count with some in this crowd!!

ANYONE using unlicensed PH's should be hammered no matter who they are.

Martin,

August 2010

PH (not): Stuart Magor

Report title "Took a chance on Deka"

BTW, no complaints about the hunt or the ability of the PH (it certainly wasn't his first time). I didn't report him because by the time I found out Parks had already caught up with him and fined him.
