A while back we were at a friend's and saw an episode of Boddington's where they did the KAbubi dance. Now my 5 year-old jumps around all the time saying this. What does it actually mean?

Kabubi
"Kabubi" means celebration, or party, and if I'm not mistaken it is from the Shona language! When you are told there will be a Kabubi tonight it is an indication that you, or someone in your camp has just shot a REAL TROPHY! usually a lion or leopard! .......................... ....Mac >>>===(x)===> MacD37, ...and DUGABOY1 DRSS Charter member "If I die today, I've had a life well spent, for I've been to see the Elephant, and smelled the smoke of Africa!"~ME 1982 Hands of Old Elmer Keith

Ah, thanks! Will explain to my daughter it's only for special celebrations... Knowing her, she'll do it if she does well at her gymnastics meet this week...
