I'm so worried about a frontal brain shot that I cannot sleep at night.

186 and counting for me. Headed to the Save for leopard and buffalo with Zambezi Hunters. Excited is an understatement....

What's most excellent about this thread is that now I can look forward to some great Afrcian Hunting Reports when each of you return successfully!

It is a disease....its worse than buff hunting.

I can tell you that while it doesnt interfere with my sleep, I am constantly reviewing photos, pictures, drawings and videos and to convince myself i know where to try to place that bullet.

Like Will (Bill Stewart) says "Once you've been amongst them, there's no such thing as too much gun!" I learned that myself in 1998, when I killed my first Ele with a .375H&H. I immediately started looking for a bigger gun and have had many since.

there really is nothing fair about this game, this is cruel and unusual punishment, i cant wait to get down to see you, with guns

545 days to go for Robin and I to fly out headed to Matetsi. 18 days of hunting leopard, buff, sable, kudu, waterbuck and other specimens that present an opportunity. Yee Haa

245 for me until I begin my hunt in the Save for an even bigger eland than the one I have. Or for whatever other plainsgame presents me with an opportunity.

160 days have to come and go till I get on the big bird headed east.This will be my second trip for elephant.

We're heading to SCI this January to look at hunts & options. At this stage I don't
have any idea how long I will have to wait or what rifle I will be using, but hopefully
2011 for bull elephant (#3) with a double rifle.
