In all the hoopla, nobody has answered the question I asked a week ago.

Has DSC banned him as well? Anybody went to DSC see his booth there?

Just curious...

I was at the show. I didn't see a booth for him. However, I wasn't looking for it either.

Not taking a position, it makes the picture vastly different if DSC preceded SCI with any action.

ISS: Mark was banned from DSC eight years ago, I believe. I asked about this at DSC in January of this year and the one board member I spoke to said , "It was the videos." Mark mentioned this to me three days ago when I invited him to DSC if I get a booth there in a year or two (if I can manage to get out a few more books to make the trip and booth expense worth while.) DSC sure runs a fine show. I have seen none better.

Rhyme of the Sheep Hunter
May fordings never be too deep, And alders not too thick; May rock slides never be too steep And ridges not too slick.
And may your bullets shoot as swell As Fred Bear's arrow's flew; And may your nose work just as well As Jack O'Connor's too.
May winds be never at your tail When stalking down the steep; May bears be never on your trail When packing out your sheep.
May the hundred pounds upon you Not make you break or trip; And may the plane in which you flew Await you at the strip.

That is it Mac, I want to know WHY. And, more telling, why nobody had an issue with that, since DSC was a part of SCI until splintering off.

Some here ignore what DSC did, and are now castigating SCI for the same thing.

If it wasn't important why DSC did so, why is it above the fold when SCI does?

just curious I guess...

9 years ago DSC was hardly on the radar screen. Probably few cared what they did.
The last 5-6 years DSC has really come into their own.
I do not suspect SCI would ever admit to following DSC's lead on anything! To much "honor" at stake.

Rich, did it ever cross your mind that MS didn't make a fuss with DSC because they told him why he was not welcome, and/or put restrictions on his activities that he wouldn't accept?

The whole thing here is the SCI DIDN'T GIVE HIM AN EXPLANATION, according to Mark Sullivan! I have no love for MS's methods, but in this case he at least deserves an explanation, don't you think? I think the non-disclosure by SCI is most likely the difference!

I have been a member of SCI almost since it's inception, and been involved with DSC since 1982, the simple fact that it took years for either to take action shows restraint in ousting members to their credit!

Who cares? DSC is fully subscribed and there are probably a lot of guys who cannot get booths.

Do you REALLY think Mark doesn't have any idea why and that he NEVER had any type of hint that SCI didn't like what he was doing?
