JW, just caught your hunt on TRACKS ACROSS AFRICA this AM. I notice you were showing some gear that you've come up with. What kind of gloves were you using and why in white? BTW, nice Purdey and good shooting on that buff.

They bid me take my place
among them in the Halls of Valhalla,

JW:
That is a nice Purdey. It appeared that you fired as he lowered his head. Brain shot? Whatever it was certainly pole-axed him.

The show was one of the best I've seen on t.v. Not any b.s., just good hunting. We do have to get you a bigger hat, though, Jeff. Big Grin

JudgeG ... just counting time 'til I am again finding balm in Gilead chilled out somewhere in the Selous.

"Peace is that brief glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading" - Thomas Jefferson

Every morning the Zebra wakes up knowing it must outrun the fastest Lion if it wants to stay alive. Every morning the Lion wakes up knowing it must outrun the slowest Zebra or it will starve. It makes no difference if you are a Zebra or a Lion; when the Sun comes up in Africa, you must wake up running......

"If you're being chased by a Lion, you don't have to be faster than the Lion, you just have to be faster than the person next to you."

It was a great show Jeff... you absolutely hammered that dugga boy with your .470! Wow!

Good to see Brent, Alfred and Davidson as well... brought back good memories for me too! BTW where was the ubiquitous cigar?
