No free shuttle for the Comfort Inn. Cab last year I believe was around $15 one way. About the same to Market Hall IIRC. There will be folks there who you can probably catch a ride to the show with. We did that his last year, but I'm renting a car this year.

I'll have a car, Retreever will have a car, & a couple others also; my wife can shuttle anyone who needs a ride - don't pay $15. for a cab. We'll arrive there on Wednesday evening, & let everyone know how to contact us for rides ...... FRANK

Frank & retreever - I think you can count me & my wife in with the festivities this year although we will be flying down and probably staying closer to the event. Last year we didn't get a chance to attend an AR function so we definitely want to do it this year.

Keep us in mind for any kind of meet/greet/dinner.

We are leaving for Namibia next week so I can't address any specifics until we get back.

Thanks in advance.

I'm going to have to back out on these; we decided to stay at the Renaissance so we could walk to the convention and drive to the party.

For anyone interested the Renaissance has rooms for $119 per night, but they said they won't last long. The phone number is (214) 631-2222.

So we are looking for a place within 5 miles of Market Center and I was thinking of finger food appetizers so all can get to talk to all in attendence, more socializing...

Mike, there is a chicken wing place in the same area as where we ate last year. I ate wings there twice while at DSC this year.

Brian: We're there as guests of one of the sponsor tables. Unfortunately this year, I'll have to go out and buy a Tuxedo, no more "Mess Dress" for me Frowner . jorge
