Being rude, mannersless and obnoxious with personal attacks, whether done on the forum or in private communication, is NOT acceptable behavior.

And just for the record, this is not the first time I have had an unfavorable exchange with him.

Those of you who have been members here for many years, will know that I do not take banning very lightly.

Sadly, we seem to get a bad apple every now and then, and stopping them posting becomes the only option left.

I have never come across anyone suggesting that you needed approval to ban a poster.

If being "rude, mannerless and obnoxious with personal attacks" are amongst the criteria that gets one banned, then I would humbly suggest that the current membership would be considerably smaller than it is.

It's your site and nobody pays fees or dues to participate. You needn't justify your decision as to who you suspend. I happen to know that you never take this action lightly and that there are always multiple discussions and warnings prior to your ultimate decision.

Saeed, if Mr. Vlam has offended you, infringing the norms of the forum it is logical and necessary that it is vetoed in the same one. For already not only offending the proprietor of the place, but because the bad ways must be allowed, not neither with you, nor with anybody. Since I have said, the freedom of expression must exist, but always inside the respect to the others. If this respect is damaged, the right to the free expression is already not such, but a way for the insult and the foreign humiliation.
