My wife and i are looking to go back to Africa in 2011. We've been to RSA twice (plains Game) and Zim twice (leopard and Cape buffalo).
We absolutely love both places, but we think we would like to see someplace new, Mozambique- Botswana- Namibia??
My wife would like to hunt lioness and i have thought about tuskless/mgmt/PCA elephant? These are just our first thoughts, but we are not committed to these animals. i guess what we are looking for here are suggestions or ideas on someplace new and different to go. We are willing to think outside the box..
We are not looking for a luxury hunt here, money is a concern, but cheap isn't always good.

Any help or ideas are greatly appreciated. If you prefer PM me.

Tuskless / Lioness - I´m "sorry" but Zimbabwe again, Look at M Jines hunt report from this year. He hunted a lioness and did a great croc hunt in Moz. It looked like great fun !

"Out of the box" definitely give consideration to Ethiopia. Attached is the link to our Ethiopian trip for Mountain Nyala.

Good luck on your search.

Personally, I think I would return to Moz of all the coutntries I hunted. I just like the wildness of it. A word of caution, though. Book only with a known outfit.

Moz is a great Safari destination but does not offer Tuskless-mgmt or PAC Ele, nor Lioness.
C&M Safaris or Chifuti in the lower Zambezi valley of Zimbabwe would be my plan.

Australia
I love a sunburnt country,
A land of sweeping plains,
Of ragged mountain ranges,
Of drought and flooding rains.
I love her far horizons,
I love her jewel-sea,
Her beauty and her terror
The wide brown land for me!

Leo, what you seek is found in Zimbabwe. Several good outfits can provide this hunt. Namibia offers excellent hunting (and experiences) and Karl would be a good choice for options there. Kwan (Walter) has excellent Hippo/Croc in Moz. Narrow down your choices as some areas have small quotas.
Regards,
David

As has been said, Mozambique does not allow female or PAC animals to be hunted.

Leo, also remember, we do offer nono-export elephant bulls in Namibia, but currently, I am sold out for 2011. If for 2012, I can help you.

Give me a holler, I may be able to fix you up with a PAC lion and/or ele combo in Botswana in conjunction with a PG hunt for Kalahari species. Emphasis on the "may" due to Bots regulations, we can't sell these hunts, but hunters may take problem animals under the right circumstances.

I just wanted to save this gem.
