DSCF has, under the leadership of our Karl Evans, begun a campaign to encourage hunters to discuss their heritage and the true story of wildlife conservation.

As the pretty lady says on the video, we need to engage in reasonable discourse.

For instance, I doubt that the largely uncommitted center has any clue that hunting dollars are the largest source of African wildlife preservation. "We Hunt For Life" is the theme to open minds to what we know : Hunters are conservationist, plain and simple.

Hopefully this video campaign will be wisely and widely distributed, grow (as more videos are made) in hard facts to counter mindless "feelings" and do a no small part of protecting our blessed heritage.

Take a look: www.dscf.org

And, yes, that's my daughter.

JudgeG ... just counting time 'til I am again finding balm in Gilead chilled out somewhere in the Selous.

Be proud, JudgeG. It's an important message and your daughter makes an outstanding ambassador.

Ernest,

Please tell Emmy congratulations on finishing PA school. It's a great profession choice. She did a marvelous job in this video and it was our pleasure to meet her on your trip to Alaska.

Cheers

Jude G is spot on except for one small thing...I'm merely a cog in the wheel for the Foundation (althoug I did convince Emmy to film the piece), Richard Cheatham (Ricardo on AR is the current President of the foundation) this project is going to be HUGE with more videos to come. Also, look for a "gigantic" presence in downtown Dallas during the DSC Convention that will surely be noticed.
Emmy did a fantastic job on the video!

This is exactly the kind of message, and messenger, that we need more of. With social media, if we use carefully crafted messages such as this, we can reach millions of non-hunters with a positive message and image of hunters.

Good job. We need to counter the falsehoods put out by the animal rights and anti-hunting people.
